I'm New

First Let us say WELCOME!! We're so glad that you're here and that you're checking out our website. We're sure you have a ton of questions and we want to answer all of them (really! Yes! Even that one!), but here's a few that we get regularly that we thought we could go ahead and tackle for you...

• What is it like?
  • Kinetic is a casual environment, it's come as you are, don't feel like you have to put up a front or have it all together, nobody is perfect here. We like to have fun and make church fun. But we don't skimp when it comes to dealing with tough topics and really getting to the heart of what scripture is saying. The music is contemporary (like some of what you might hear on christian radio stations) and it's also classic and ties us to what we're familiar with. The teaching is conversational, engaging and practical. The fellowship is real and authentic, there are a lot of people who come here and say that they immediately found the family like atmosphere they were looking for. 
• What about my kids?
  • At Kinetic we believe that kids are a big deal, so we make a big deal about Kids! We want your kids to learn, grow and have fun as much (or more) as you will! So after our safe and secure kids check in process (don't worry it's easy and we've got volunteers to help you with it) they get to hang out with their peers at Camp Kinetic in one of our age based programs (at the moment we have Preschool/Nursery and Elementary Environments) where they'll play, sing, learn, discuss, and learn how to apply each weeks lesson. 
• Where do I park?
  • Please park up front! We're saving those spots for you! There's nothing worse than going some place you've been wanting to check out and then having to park a mile away and walk up. So at Kinetic we intentionally save the best parking spots for the people just checking us out. Also it makes it easy for one of our Hospitality Liaisons to meet you up front and help you go through kid's checkin and meet our awesome Camp Kinetic volunteers, find some coffee and donuts, answer any questions you might have early on and grab a seat in the auditorium. 
• What do I wear?
  • Clothes...but seriously, wear what makes you comfortable, most of us will be in jeans and t-shirts or polos, but if you're most comfortable in a suit and tie or dress by all means wear that. We don't believe God likes anybody more than somebody else and especially not because of the clothes on their back or the designer that put them together. It's about your heart not your outfit!
• How can I get connected?
  • First we're glad that you want to get connected! The first step in that process is to sign up for "Growth Track", it's 4 weeks right after church for 20-30 minutes, Week 1 is Pizza with the Pastor and we talk about who we are, why we exist, what it means to be a member at Kinetic and how you can do that. Week 2 is all about "Life Groups" and how you can get better connected to God and make some new friends at our small group meetings during the week. Week 3 is about our ministry teams and how you can serve at Kinetic. Week 4 is a test drive of the ministry team that you think you would most want to be a part of. Don't worry you don't have to commit to anything by going to Growth Track other than enjoying some pizza and giving up a little bit of time. But if you really want to get involved in the ministry here at Kinetic Growth Track is the easiest and best way to do that!
